Methods for detection and attribution of anthropogenic climate change

We invite papers for a special ASCMO issue entitled "Methods for the detection and attribution of anthropogenic climate change". Articles should be focussed on statistical methodologies intended for either detection and attribution of observed trends in climatic variables or for probabilistic extreme event attribution. Specific examples of attributed climate fields should be in a expository style to better explain the methods presented rather than focussed on the attribution result itself. Therefore, the aim of this special issue is to document attribution methodologies so that interested scientists can implement them in their own problems of interest. Publication of attribution software is also encouraged to aid in this goal.
